Pay-It-Forward

Pay it forward scholarships started as an idea when we first met Denis in July of 2008, he is an orphan who was living totally alone, struggling to attend school and feed and clothe himself, not totally uncommon in our children, but there was something special about Denis, despite his struggles he was doing incredibly well in school. Denis captured the heart of many who met him and heard about him. When Lindsay came to Uganda in Dec 2008 we wanted her to meet our special boy and introduced her to Denis. Like others before, Denis captured her heart and the hearts of her parents and they decided to sponsor Denis for the next three years. When we spoke to Denis about his sponsorship we told him that he would never be asked to pay back his school fees but instead, one day when he became the doctor he strives to be he will pay forward the gift he has been given to another person in need.

Children Looking for Sponsorship

We have many children who are looking for sponsorship.These children all scored in the top 25% of the national scores in the primary leaving exams and have the ability to make it all the way to University and pay forward, helping the next generation of orphaned children.

Keeping Children Safe

Some of our children are in such difficult situations that it was felt by everyone that to help them they should be placed in a safe and secure environment these three children all attend boarding school where they are safe, cared for and have three meals a day.
