Youth group

Our youth group is a new group formed for young adults that are still in school and are struggling to stay in school and complete their studies. The group currently has 10 members, in their meetings they support each other as well as getting guidance and leadership from Bago. In addition to the moral support provided by this group the members also are starting an income generating project involving raising pigs for the express purpose of paying their school fees. Some of the young adults in this group have mothers or grandmothers, some have no one and are living completely alone. All are in school and all are struggling to find the funds to pay their school fees, all have hopes to complete school. We are trying to support all of these children to achieve their goals of finishing school as well as providing moral support and guidance on issues facing youth in rural Uganda.
