Vision and Mission

Africa is a land of great problems and great promise. In Africa there are 60 million children who are orphaned and vulnerable. In Africa there are 60 million children who stand the chance of growing up without the benefit, guidance and protection of parents.

There is a new face to poverty. It is growing up alone without parents –without hope. The children of the circumstance are the very reason for the Uganda Partnership. We are not heroes trying to rescue kids. We are just ordinary people who understand that with a little assistance, these children can be moved from hopelessness to hope.

What is life without hope?...without the prospect of growing up in a safe and secure environment. We are called to help the dispossessed. We cannot change the AIDS epidemic. We cannot change the human suffering on a global scale but we can work toward providing for the orphans that live amongst us. We want to be able to provide a safe, secure place to grow up and learn about the world and learn how to make a living. We want to be able to build a school where children are not excluded because they cannot pay their school fees or futures are dimmed due to hunger and malnutrition.
